On the 4th of March the global Catholic community will be united in”24 hours for the Lord”. This special time will be an opportunity to experience Christ in a new way – through Adoration, the Sacrament of Reconciliation and an open door in each of our churches.
In our schools there will be a special ‘Day of Mercy’ to tie in with these events and below are a number of resources to help you run engaging and meaningful activities for the young people in your schools.
There will also be a special live broadcast by Bishop Patrick to all young people on the morning of the 4th of March at 9:15am. Hopefully you’ll be able to incorporate this into your liturgies and acts of worship for the day. You can bookmark the broadcast link here and come back on the morning to tune in live.
If you are unable to join us live, Bishop Patrick has recorded this special message to all schools to be watch during the week leading up to the Day of Mercy. It’s a great way to understand what it’s all about.
